LETTERPRESS CHRISTMAS CARD SET ~ MEDIEVAL TILES ~ BLUE

Letterpress Christmas cards printed by hand, the traditional way.
I printed this set of cards using lead type on my vintage printing press.

These aren’t overtly Christmassy Christmas cards, no snow, reindeer or Father Christmas, but they have just enough holly to give a subtle nod to the festive season.

Both the colours and the designs for these cards are inspired by medieval tiles, mainly floor tiles, often found in old churches.

There are five cards in a pack, one of each design.
These are small cards 9.5cm / just under 4 inches.
Printed onto a nice white, textured, heavyweight 300gsm card.
Blank inside and with a recycled envelope.
Printed with ink that will not fade, so suitable for framing.
